My dearest grandpa.... 92yrs old, gone through and survived an operation.

    A warrior in every way.

Went to godson's place to drop off something earlier this afternoon and was most entertained by the following sight...

    My Iorek Byrnison

On the 15th Nov, i made an entry abt the multiple movies i wanna watch... of which, i believe i did not have enuff time.

I think... if there's a will, there's a way! In the madness of ALOT of work, visiting grandpa, getting ready for christmas (buying the gifts for christmas can seriously drain your life away!), and trying to cover my mum in terms of housework as much as i can... i actually managed to watch quite a number of movies. Those I've not watch... is only becos it's not out yet! Fantastic ewey! Tongue out

Beowulf was alright apart from being rather violent. Jolie was gorgeous as usual but we all know it is further enhanced by CGI. Hero was abit on the looney side but watchable. Enchanted was mostest enjoyablest! I especially love Pip the Chipmunk... Open-mouthed and Golden compass was as grand as it could be! Iorek Byrnison... my new idol! Now... to watch Alvin & the Chipmunks & National Treasure Pt 2. As for Heartbreak Kid... i think can wait for the DVD. =)

    Grandpa's coming to stay!

Just realise that my last entry was almost a month ago! Tat is NOT GOOD!

For those of you who know, my grandpa is now much much better and it's confirmed! He will be staying with us when he is discharged from St Luke's Hospital. It's really been a long time coming... all these years we've wanted to take care of him and it took a very bad fall + an operation + almost 1.5 months of being taken care of DAILY by my mum (his daughter) that he finally agreed. 92 yrs old... it's high time someone took care of him properly. So there, it'sbeen hectic the past week as the family tries to re-structure the flat to make it "elderly friendly". We've been searching for a bed with guard rail but was unable to find it. Sis bought a new bookshelf to (finally) pack her mountain of books and text and watsnots... bro helped to shift the furniture in his room to accomodate the changes (grandpa will be sharing the room with him)... and we've also gotten a chair for grandpa to sit on... with leg rest too. He cant walk much but we wouldnt want him to be sitting on the wheelchair all day long....

Yet to replace our heater (cant possibly make my grandpa bathe with cold water) which has been a long time coming... Open-mouthed thanks to grandpa, we finally get to bathe with WARM WATER!!!!
