Louis Vitton for Murphy?Ok... I admit! I'm on a high... it's been 14 days since i last put up an entry, so tot it'll be good to quickly put some stuff up since I'm on leave today!
I went to the doctor last thursday (3th May) and while waiting for my turn to see the doc, i was browsing thru some magazines and i was completely caught by.. i dunno... awe or disgust?  The felines and murphy's of these days... sure have it all going for them! Even LV comes up with pet bags for them!!! Carry your doggy out in style? Makes me imagine the world being filled with Cruella DeVil lookalikes... strutting around like... well.... Cruella DeVil.  Vinz 19th Birthday8th May 2007
8th May was my godbrother's birthday... but he din have time to celebrate with us on the actual day and so we did a surprise celebration for him on the 9th instead. Cheated him up to our place (mum made the order of cos!) and presented him with MY fave cake! (yes yes.. why MINE you ask... ?? But i cannot deal with any more chocolate cake! EVERYONE does the choc cake thing, it is annoying!!!!!)
It was all quite lovely really... especially when we made him sing the birthday song for himself. Have a video recording of that but pity i cant post it here! Well, i think the best things in life are always the simple things. The mango cake was delicious too! Lesson 101: The Idiot's Guide to AirconI've learnt a lesson.
Mum says,"when you get a house.... even if you only have 3K, dun buy furniture... buy and fix up the aircon when the renovation of the place is being done."
Otherwise, it'll be like what happened to me yesterday & today! Learnt my lesson manz! I went aircon shopping last weekend and bought a system 3 for my family... decided that it was high time we get the house fixed up with aircon. All these years, my family's been talking about it but we hadn't the $$ (not that i have it now...so thank god for whoever created installment plans!) and dese days, it really is much cheaper to get a pretty good set at a pretty good price.
Anyways, the installation was a complete nightmare!!!!!!!! They were not fixing up the aircon... i swear they were tearing my place down! I took leave on thurs thinking it will be enuff to clean up the place after the installation. I ended up taking friday off as well! It was simply too much to clean! It's like a sandstorm ran amok thru my entire house! Furnitures were all over the place.. fridge was shifted, my mum's big ass wardrobe was shifted, tables, chairs, dining tables beds and OMG! EVERYTHING! And despite the fact that we tried to cover some of the stuff with newspaper... it was NOT ENUFF! At the end of the nightmare... there was another nightmare. EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF FURNITURE has to be cleaned. Even the vacuum cleaner has overworked.... the suction power is at it's minimum now..... sigh... |
