June 30 Lost my handphone!Went to meet some friends for lunch yesterday and it was followed by some shopping.... ok, it was full day of shopping. My feet hurts.
My heart hurt more! Lost my handphone along the way... believed i left it in the paragon toilet! ARGH!! Sickening! I dun even remember the last time i lost my phone! It must have been forever ago! Sigh... Stoopid me! Thou i had intended to retire my fone, it was NOT NOW!!! Now, I'm broke from Perth trip... holes in all my pockets.. and lost my fone! ARGH!!!!!!! Perth Jun 22 to Jun 28, 2007After one full year of planning, I finally made my way down under... to perth to find my 2 fav frens, Felicia & Jessamine.
Have loaded the pictures online.... to view them, click/copy the following link: http://www.kodakgallery.com/I.jsp?c=awo4ial.81orz0x1&x=0&y=6c7iuh
Overall, it was a fabulous trip... with loads of fun and also quality time with my mum. It was a birthday gift to her (25 Jun) and I am glad i brought mum along. 1- i saved loads on phonecalls back home, 2- I din even have to pack my bed! Muahaha!
We stay at felicia's bf's place... Marc was a fantabulous host! He made sure we were comfy and he was great company. Looking forward to seeing him here in sunny hot singapore. He's current my favourite English rose.. he's got a great sense of humour and time spent with him was most enjoyable!
I managed to go to several places even thou it was a rather short trip... king's park and botanical gardens, some sight seeing along scenic routes (in Marc's lovely jeep), went to Cottesloe beach and saw crazy surfers surfing in the freezing cold, went to the Freemantle Markets, had delicious fish & chips at Kaili's at Freemantle Port area, went to the city centre, some shopping at a huge mall called Garden City, tried Miss Maud's yummilicious pies and such.. I've also managed a trip down to Swan Valley, visited the Caversham Wildlife Park, getting up close with kangaroos, koalas, eweys... and even donkeys! I went to different wineries to buy wine and also a visit to a nougat factory and a chocolate factory.
Weather was fantastic... ranging from abt 8 to 14 degrees celcius. Lovely really... Just like my favourite "aircon" weather! June 07 Summer BlockbustersssssFwahhhhhhhh! It's like an never-ending flow of fantabulous blockbusters recently! *slurp*
I may have lost my movie kaki.... (yeah, life's a bitch! NEVER depend on just 1 person... ) but I sure have been pretty fortunate to have been able to catch all that i've been waiting for.... For that, I thank the following people!
1) My mum and sister! YOU ROCK!
- Spiderman 3 was commendable for it's really great effects! Though i have to admit it was a tad too draggy for my liking. I mean, i like mary jane and spidey's love story but how many times must that poor girl be dropped from the sky?
- Pirates 3 was most delightful to watch despite the sad ratings the critics gave it. I am bias... i love Johnny Depp! He's superbly talented!
2) My lovely corny frens from work (Mingming, Lili, Ah Na, Steffy) who have soooooo kindly gone out of their way to try get extra tickets and bring me along with them for the movies!!!!
- Shrek 3 was FUNNIE!!!!! I swear we still can go into discussions about the silly animation and still find it funnie. The characters, the road names...damn! Even the shop names was funnie! It was amaizingly corny (© Mingming)... and i'd say... the company made it so much better! It was most fun to have frens who appreciate the same things!!
- Oceans Thirteen was still as smart as ever... never mind the plot thou, the eye candy was more than enuff for the desperado that i am! *obviously seriously lacking regular dosage of eye candy dese days!* Anyways, it was a tad draggy inbetween... but i'd say it was actually better than Oceans Twelve... but never will it surpass the brilliance of Oceans Eleven!!!!
It's a busy month!!!!
This week: Oceans Thirteen (job completed!)
Next week: Fantastic Four 2 (must watch must watch)
Week after next: EWEY GOING PERTH!
Last week of Jun: Transformer (must watch must watch)
1st week of Jul: Dim Sum Dollies!!!!! And I'll have the last Harry Potter book on hand for my reading pleasure! CANT WAIT!
2nd week of Jul: HARRY POTTY! *erh.. i mean harry potter!!! June 01 The Art Of CreativityI really think my silly sis has a knack for creative things.... To think that I'm the ambi-dexterous one at home. Sigh...
Check out her udon snail-ley.... it appeared halfway thru dinner one day. And we were wondering why was she soooooo quiet! Mother's Day 13th May 07We never really officially celebrate mother's day actually... I think that every day should be mother's day considering how she practically dedicated her life to bring you up, to nurture and to love you.
But anyways, we took the opportunity to go hang out in town and bring my mum out to eat and all. (She really needs to get out more often!)
Nothing spectacular for my lovely mum... just plenty of love and plenty of fun as always. |
