(Am tempted to stick one of these things up - some pple are annoying some other people in my company. I personally find it embarrassing to find such notes in the toilet cubicles. For the love of God, cant these girls take care not to mess things up?)

 

 

I was curled up in bed in misery last night (runny nose and freezing) when my annoying sister had a 自编自导自演 session... (I really din know how to respond to it.... )

1) Olympics has been a nightmare at work. (i think even more so for those in production...)

 

2) Phelps must have been a huge-ass shark in his past life! 8 olympic GOLD medals. Madness....

 

3) The male swimmers/divers body super nice leh... *drool*

 

4) Singapore finally got a silver medal after a 48 yr drought.

 

5) Wow! Those weightlifters are WOW...

 

6) Gymnasts like Shawn Johnson have no centre of gravity one issit? Steady. Steady.

 

7) At least Federer got his gold. (Abeit a doubles gold)

 

Oh how i hate having gastric flu!

 

Been feeling miserable since wednesday midnight.

 

It's excruciating to puke from both ends.

 

I remember why i cannot spend so much money!!!! I bought a new computer for my family.

 

I'd say my mum's happy as a lark. Hahaha... now she can play her diablo, warcraft and watsnots. And i can finally catch up on all those episodes of Bleach that i've missed. It's amazing how we survived 5 months (yeah, com crashed in Mar 08. It took THAT long for mum to finally decide on the specs blah blah that she wanted.) without a com. (At least i had com at work...)

 

Actually we got an old com started up out of desperation but it hangs all the time so it was super frustrating for all of us. We could only use msn and x fingers/toes/eyes/nose and pray it wun hang. One good thing that came out of it was that sis managed to get her resume and all out using the old com. She is now gainfully employed. Hahaha....

 

New com's from dell. System's using Vista and all... trying to get use to it. And oh, IE9 is a charm! Multi-tab!!! (I'm such a mountain turtle... heehee).

 

And and and... the blady monitor is bigger than my tv! Can die can?!?!

 

Get new TV... i must.

Anyhows... Special thanks to wel for treat - after multiple grumbles from me cos i needed to NOT spend so much money but i couldn't remember why at that point in time.

 

Desperate to go shopping to buy 2 very belated pressies and a bag to replace my torn one together with the fact that my sister failed me (BECAUSE she din want to accompany me),  I asked my brother to go shopping with me yesterday.  Quite strange hor?

 

Not really...

 

At least not in my family's terms.

 

Anyways, we went to Pasta De Waraku, cam-whore abit.... then went running around looking for things. And continued shopping & eating... Haha!

 

He would be such a lovely gay friend to have... 'cept he is not. And why would i want him to be a friend when he is much closer than that?! 

 

 

It's been like SEVENTEEN YEARS since i last saw this old friend!!!

 

Ok... i exaggerate. It's not seventeen.... just about 5 yrs. Or was it 7??

 

Anyways, her chinese name has always been quite the entertainment factor for me.

 

Her name is Smoky. 烟雾. (HAHA！Alright alright... I was just joking.  I dunno how it is written exactly but it's definitely not smog/smoky la. But of cos, she's known more as Joyce than by her chinese name.)

 

Let me introduce to you... a very preciously fun and spontaneous friend (who stood by me when i was the most disappointed and down and upset):

 

Joyce Tan.

She's all but grown up... the last i saw her... she was 17 or 18. （Time really flies. Blink and it's gone. ）

 

p/s: her first words to me last fri (08/08/08) when she saw me was... "Why you look the same one?!"

 

Mum & Sis has come to a compromise. (mum was against getting another hamster (since hammy left us) unless it was an albino. sis was against albino. Needless to say... it's obvious mum won.)

 

However, as all albino hamsters go... this bugger is one hell of a BTR. (Nickname given by Bro) - BLOODY THIRSTY RAT.

 

Cute. Curious. And deadly.

(she practically pounces on your fingers and chomps down. Sis say she feels that she's been doing like blood test everyday.)

 

Oh i do... i really kinda do.

 

So i went in search of mid-day entertainment....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have an extremely sensitive nose. My family doc never fails to inform/remind me of that minor flaw in my life.

 

At every opportunity he gets.

 

Whether i am going to see him for eye infection, throat infection, ear infection, bronchitis, flu, fever...whatever. ... "You have a sensitive nose." At which point i will always tell him "Ya, i know. You've been telling me that for 15  years." (roll eyes for higher impact).

 

Sigh.... I wonder if my "ultra" sensitive nose means I can detect smells as well as dogs. *woof woof*

 

Anyways, I've always wondered how is it that there are people who are not aware that their mouth smells like a bloody sewage plant. Early in the morning some more. It takes more than self discipline not to gag sometimes when some joker from i dunno how many seats/rows away open their mouth to yawn/talk and there's this whoahhhhhhhhhhh stench that envelops the entire room/bus. *double faint* But you know what is the worst?!?!?! The worst kind of these vicious mind-numbling, body-paralysing attacks is when said person/persons come and talk to you in close proximity. Not the I stand here, you stand there kind of close proximity... it's the i am seated down (read: nowhere to run to or turn to... cornered like a freaking animal) and said person/persons bend over and talk kind of CLOSE PROXIMITY.

 

And then there's the B.O. Capital B dot capital O.

 

I know some people cannot help it (but I know people who bothered to help themselves), but HELLO!!!! try to do something about it can?! This is especially for girls. I am serious. How you smell oh saysssss so much about your personal hygiene. Especially early in the morning. It makes me wonder... if they are unable to keep clean before work... can you imagine how they'll smell at the end of the day?! Or during work... for that matter. And I've also noticed that dousing themselves with perfume does not keep BO away. In fact, the mixture of BO and perfume becomes a pungent stench. MUCH WORSE than that of overperfuming or BO. It's the nose piercing, tears inciting kind of smell. *triple faint*

 

Sensitve nose = more discerning on smells? What do you think?

1) Sis found out that dad referred to her as TUA PUI ZHA BOR (read: big fat woman)... and orchestrated her revenge. (Read: San Poh = skinny human)

 

2) Dad comes back from work in the morning (he works night shift) and made some additions to the insults...

 

3) Sis comes back from work and fought back.... (after we all had a VERY VERY VERY good laugh at my dad's madness)!
